Some of the activities performed by TTA:

• Monitors legislation that affects taxpayers.

• Sponsors legislation to help taxpayers.

• Opposes legislation oppressive to taxpayer rights.

• Informs the public of taxation issues through Newsletters, Bulletins, FAX, Telephone, and other means.

• Initiates and/or participates in court issues that affect taxpayers.

• Monitors the State Attorney General and various city/county attorney opinions harmful to other taxpayers.

• Initiates actions to counteract Attorney General or County Attorney opinions harmful to the taxpayers.

• Monitors various city and county local government actions and participates in those actions affecting taxpayer issues.

• Monitors changes in the important agencies and boards affecting taxpayer rights.

• Monitors the political scene and participates in the election process for public officials who really favor fairness and equity for taxpayers.
